Before Google's streetview, I walked about 14 miles along Grand Rapids, Michigan's Division Avenue/Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Accompanied by artists Joe Arens and Karis Medina, I took a picture every 25 steps resulting in nearly 1000 photos of the street. These were then put into a slideshow uploaded to youtube. Members of The Moving Crew viewed these images and responded with artwork and an exhibition at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids.

My future goal with these images is to print them out, mount them and make an accordian book. Unlike Google's Streetview, my images looked to the horizon of the road so the buildings and lots along the street are in the periphery.
